Climate and Soil: Sweet pumpkin needs a dry and high climate. Warm, lots of sunlight and low humidity are best, around 160-170 days. Optimum temperature for good yield of sweet pumpkin is 200-250 celsius. Optimum temperature for seed germination is 210-320 Celsius.
