Happy Tuesday Blurtians!
I was exploring the City of Dumaguete during my first week here. It's nice to just just stroll around the city when you have no schedule lining up. The weather that time was pretty good so I took that opportunity to explore the place.
Since I am from Cebu, I used to see a four-wheel taxi everyday, I was expecting that I could also see taxis here as it is also a City but to my surprise there's no taxi here. The people will only rely to a tricycle to go around the City.
While I was strolling around, the vibrant color of the building made me excite to come closer to it since it piques my curiousity. What is it? I quietly asked. At first, I thought it was an apartment but when I came closer I read M.Y. Hotel. Oh, it's a new hotel in the city.
They were not operating yet the time when I was there. The construction was still on-going but I think it's almost done because I can see it thru the outside look.
The color of it really caught someone's attention. Maybe that is one of the strategies of the owner since the competition in the hospitality industry is tough. You need to get noticed and be competitive to your services.
That's it for today Blurtians. See you on my next blog.
