Hi, Blurtterz! 🐠
Just this morning while my cousins were having a good time at the beach, they saw this creature. Someone might have caught it and made a hole on its eyes in order not to get away. Isn’t it just too cruel? Poor fish 😢💔
This fish is locally known as “PALATA”. After many searches (Wohooo happy dance 💃) I found that its english name is SURGEONFISH or Tangs scientifically called as Acanthuridae.

Why are they called Surgeonfish?Aptly named, the surgeonfish are distinguished by one or two razor sharp protrusions or spines on each side of their tails. These spines, which usually lie flat, are not for show. credit source
