Have you ever experienced being on a battle? Well me, I’ve been to a number already. Not on a real fight with swords and guns, but on the table.
Boodle fight is a Filipino tradition of eating where a pile of food is served in the middle of a table. Foods are usually placed on a banana leaf with rice in the middle topped with viands (or could either be on the sides whichever the group prefers). And it’s a whole lot of fun because you’ll eat with just bare hands. The yummier the foods served, the messier it gets.
Whenever we feel like indulging ourselves, we always end up having boodle fight. Last Friday night, we had our dinner served on a boodle fight. It so laid-back especially if your group is also in to it, too. We had lechon manok, grilled fish, squid, shrimp, adobong baboy, meat rolls, lumpia, dynamite and pineapple and watermelon as our healthy dessert. Not to mention the sauce with all the onion and spices. Yummerz! 🐷😋
