Christmas with my family

Here are some of my shots of when we celebrated our Christmas with my family last year. It's our first time to make grazing on this special occasion. What I love about grazing is that it's organized and balanced food. It will more look nicer if you will place it on a wooden board to feel the essence of it. But I suggest you place it on the table like 20-25 minutes before welcoming Christmas Day at 12:00 midnight because the texture and quality of the food might be changed due to exposure in an open space with air so there is a chance with those crackers will be softened.

One of my favorites to eat during Christmas is the Crispy Pata. This is a long process of cooking as we have to get the exact softness of the meat and maintain its juiciness and crispiness. It is difficult to cook as well as it tests your patience. If you will use the wrong way of cooking it and dipping it directly from hot oil then there is a chance the oil will spread everywhere or pop out from the pan which is very dangerous to us. So it will be better to boil the meat first, dry it then cook in low heat to not burn or overcook it.

The last one is the pork chop. It is another good food to enjoy. This is more tasteful if it is marinated in 2 hours and cooked in low heat as well. It's going to be more meat this Christmas. That's all for today. How about yours? What will be your food preparation this coming Christmas?
