Chop Suey

And last but not least is the local favorite: Chop Suey! Although its origins are still a subject of controversy, what I can certainly tell you is that it has also extended its influence to the Philippines. It is arguably one of the country's most popular vegetable dishes and has inspired many recipes perhaps better suited to local tastes. For this recipe, we used bell peppers, yellow onions, baby corn, snow peas, and let me tell you, the list goes on. This is another recipe with lots of ingredients.
But I can already tell you that the work and ingredients are worth it. With a thick and savory sauce, we have a delicious set of vegetables with pork and shrimp! Because of these last ingredients, you're also sure to get plenty of protein for a healthy meal. This is definitely one of the classics that you should try cooking at least once.

Well, it looks like your list of vegetable dishes has really grown! Now you have plenty of options when it comes to cooking something that's both nutritious and delicious. But since it's a question of learning to cook with fresh produce, what if we also looked at the best preservation methods?
