BANTAYAN SA HARI ALSO CALLED BALUARTE

Good day blurtians, this century old structure is called "BANTAYAN SA HARI OR BALUARTE. The old ones her in our baranggay says that it was made to protect the local from marauders from the seas.

The term Bantayan sa Hari means Watchtower of the King. These watchtowers were on a constant lookout for raiders in the area. Once these marauders are spotted, a warning was sent out to the locals who would seek refuge from the raiders.
