My blurt diary 0.5: Searching for happiness

in blurtpilipinas •  2 years ago

Dear friend, we all desires happiness. Happiness is a choice we can be happy anytime.

All men desire happiness. This natural desire for happiness is an innate instinct in man, one that God has bestowed on him.
Although many strive to obtain happiness through knowledge, some pursue it early but follow the wrong path and come to realize their mistake only at the expense of cruel suffering.
Hence, the object of our desire to happiness, first of all, it should be something permanent and independent of chance or accident. We cannot posses a fleeting or perishable object when we like or as we like to possess it. Moreover, if we love a perishable object, we live in constant fear of losing it and this is incompatible with true happiness.
Thus, to love material and perishable things is to be materialized and doomed to perish, to love the eternal is to become eternal and to love God is to become God.
Now, since God alone is eternal and therefore permanent and completely independent, only he who posseses God possess happiness and it follows that the desire for God is the only path which leads to happiness.
According to some, possesing God means doing what God wills, others claim that it means to lead a good life.
A person maybe be without many things and still be happy, because happiness is a good of the spirit and cannot be endangered by the loss of any material good.
Besides, a wise man said

"I am nothing without God. All that I have comes from him. In him, I found true happiness, wisdom and eternal life.

God is merciful and gracious. God is Truth. God is love. I give thanks and praise the Almighty God: love and serve (amare et servere) him with all my heart, and with all my soul and with all my might."

In psalm 13:1 "The fool hath said in heart. There is no God. "..."God is dead. God remain dead. And we have killed him." (Friedrich Nietzsche).
The fool argued, "Life is meaningless. Life is absurd. We are thrown to the world to suffer and find its own meaning in 'nothingness'. All that I have are the fruits of my works. I created my own happiness"

My dear friend, who are you? The wise man or to fool man?

Hence, wise man is guided by divine wisdom. It teaches him to avoids exceses such lust, ambition, pride, and similar vices, which inordinate souls regarded as a pleasure.
It avoids defects such as brutality, despondency avarice, and like vices, which bring unhappiness to man.
But what is wisdom?
Scripture tells us. It is the Wisdom of God. Indeed, St. Paul the Apostle writes that 4th he Son of God is none other than the Wisdom of God. We were right then in saying that the man who possesses God thereby posseses wisdom and happiness as well.
But what is wisdom if not truth?
For scripture also says, "I am the Truth".
Moreover, it is in God that we can find wisdom, happiness, truth and all goodness of life.
I pray my dear brothers and sisters in Christ that you may find happiness in God even if we walked in the path of darkness, trials, turmoil and experiencing the battle of covid 19.
May God bless us all!
