Well, it's more like we went to the zoo on Monday once we'd picked our little apes up from nursery... we continued driving and made our way to Drusillas Park and signed up for our annual passes.
We used to go a lot when the-toddler-gorilla was a baby but it's been nearly 2 years since we last went - pre-lockdown 2020.
Not much had changed in our 2 year absence - they're redeveloping some of the rides (it's got a very good play area for toddlers and older children) and the guinea pigs and rabbits have a new home... although I have no idea where. Hopefully they're not all dead.
I tried to take plenty of photos but my iCloud is pretty full so only a few of them are downloadable from my PC at the moment. Luckily, I think they're some of my better ones of the Black-Cheeked Lovebirds. Their eyes look like a badly made toy bird but I can assure you they're real...
