⭐ UFO? Probably not...

In a recent blog post, I'd photographed a light in the sky, shining incredibly brightly and this morning, it was here once again...

Last time I photographed it, the-mrs-gorilla said something about "the morning star" (i.e. the planet Venus) and so this time, I got one of those star gazing apps (which is far too complicated for its own good) and (in a roundabout way) it told me yes, the bright light I was looking at is Venus.

Sorry folks... the truth is out there, it's just hiding quite well at the moment.

hahahaha, by being quick when seeing this thumbnail in my feed, I first thought it said scrotum instead of scutum. I was really wondering what the hell you were writing about 😂

🤔 Perhaps I'll write about that next time... 😂

I love the light refraction - when you can see a band of green sky! ;-)

The colours we get in the mornings are just amazing here - I took this one about half an hour later -

nice. I like the green coz is so unusual - only ever happens in a rainbow and those refraction bands (that are also rainbow sections) just before the sun can be seen.
