I'll never get bored of sharing the beauty that we see out of our windows almost every morning. Admittedly, it's not always as colourful as this, but there's nothing better than waking up and being able to see the sea.
The phrase in the title is one that I couldn't quite remember the exact words for so I used Google to remind me (I did know it but I'm obviously lacking in confidence) and interestingly, and I got more than just a reminder of the phrase, I also found an explanation for the warning...
"Red sky in the morning, shepherds warning" means a red sky appears due to the high-pressure weather system having already moved east meaning the good weather has passed, most likely making way for a wet and windy low-pressure system. (Source)
With various storms forecast across the UK over the coming days, I hope that the Shepherds heed this warning.
Red sky at night, chemtrail delight :-(
That's one I'd not heard of before. Surely there were red skies at night well before aeroplanes existed?
it's a modernised classic ;-)
Wonderful shot
Thank you
