Growing Grass Experiments : Grass seeds from growing grass.

I have tried for many years to plant grass seeds on my lawn to grow thicker grass… to crowd out the weeds.

So far Nothing works.

The grass seed I buy in bags will not grow on my lawn. Even when I add top soil over them …. Either the birds eat them or it’s bad seed.

So today I noticed that the City has stopped mowing all of the nearby parks.

No budget ? Who knows. It’s wild out there.

All the grass is now over 3’ tall and has gone to seed …. This grass seems to be doing well so while on my morning walk with Lola I decided I would pick some of this seed and add it to my lawn and see if it will grow in my yard.
