Squid Games SNL

The message is clear. Society is sick selling out to get one step above the next.

The series tends to parallel the greed and competitiveness of human beings, not just in Korea but all human beings.

Pete Davidson's spin on the squid game is about where I stand with the show. It's pretty sick because once greedy competitive people get money they don't get better. I think some competition is necessary in society or we wouldn't do much of anything, but human life should be regarded as sacred.

I usually try to post something funny here. You judge for yourselves if you think this SNL is funny or sad. Maybe it is a little bit of both.

The whole world is making money off the squid game's popularity. It is short term, but made a perfect economic land right before Halloween. I wonder who will be wearing a Squidgame costume for Halloween?

In a way I'm glad for this sudden popularity gives small businesses a chance to scope up some of the profits. On the other hand what a sick world we live in.
