Tell us about one the best celebrations, parties or events you've been to. What did you like about it and why, what happened there to make it so good or memorable
Here in my country (Nigeria), if you would call for party, you must have enough money for it because we don't value just drinks in a party, we value different kinds of foods and in a party, Rice must be available, either jollof, fried 🍟 or white rice with pepper source and different kind of means 🍖 but it still depend on the tribe that you are from. The Yoruba tribes would prefer Rice and Amala, the Igbos would prefer Rice and Gari or any of their tribes food, the Hausas would prefer Rice and Tuwo. Each tribes make use of Rice at the party 🎊. Each tribes must prepare Rice and any of their tribes food in a party.
An uncle of mine is a party planner, so through him, I've been to different parties, both wedding, naming ceremony and birthdays. What's funny is that we still celebrate it when our aged ones dies but not all tribes do that, only Hausas tribes don't do that and we still eat. We spend Millions of Naira(Nigeria Currency) on any party, so far it's party.
The best celebrations party I've been since I've been following my uncle to parties is a woman that clocked 40's birthday party, she celebrated the Birthday party in a hall that is able to contain 1,000 people and she didn't invite more than how much people she can feed like some people do. In her 40, she have 3 kids and she look so pretty, young and beautiful.
What I like about the Birthday event is the fact that there is enough food for everyone she invited to eat and there is still excess of food because what most celebrants do is just focus on their wears, the musicians but this woman focused on all till extend you can eat and still take home if you wish. I even have the chance to eat in two different times and still took gift items home.
What happened at the party is just Celebration, the comedian she invited is a good one, everyone that attended had their nice time, with surplus drink and foods and after all programs, we took pictures with her and Taking pictures is what ends all programs here in Nigeria.
