Today I am here to share my day with you. I was very excited today. I had to attend a marriage ceremony you can say mehndi of my cousin. And I had to go there in the evening. So firstly I decided to attend my university classes.
So I got up early in the morning with the excitement to enjoy the wedding celebrations. It is really a matter of fun when there is wedding in close family and it becomes more fun when there is the wedding of your cousin. I took shower and dressed up in the university dress. And then I took my breakfast as usual. After taking my breakfast I reached the bus stop and I started waiting there for the arrival of the bus. One of my friend joined me there. I discussed about his studies.
He is doing pharmacy technician. I started asking about the completion of his degree. It is actually a two years degree program but I became surprised when he told me that three years have passed already but the degree is not completed yet. I asked about the reason he told that the government institution which handles this programme is very slow. But now the secretary of pharmacy council had changed and the papers will be conducted in the near future.
So the bus arrived and we both got into the bus and in this my journey started. We continued our discussion. I do not like much discussions but he was not stopping himself from talking. So I had to listened to him intentionally and unintentionally. Then the bus reached the bus stand and we both got off the coaster. And we covered some distance by walking on foot. His friends came there and he joined them but I continued my walking and I reached the next bus stop.
I did wait for the bus there as well and then I got the bus and in this way my journey started. But that bus was full of passengers and there was no place to sit. I got off the bus and I picked another one after a while. I got the seat and in this way my journey completed towards the Okara city. Now I had to pick another bus which would lead me to the university. I reached university safe and sound.
I reached the classroom and there was a time before the start of the class. I did wait for my friends. They came there and in some time the class also started. The teacher came and he conducted the lecture. Then there was a lecture break. I spent my time in the class room.
After that the lecture started and I attended the lecture. As soon as the lectured ended I started my journey towards the home. I reached the bus stop and after picking the bus my journey to the home started. I reached home safe and sound. And it was the evening time already. Now I had to prepare myself to reach the wedding home.
My mother asked me that we had to go there early. But I said we will go a little bit late. So after taking shower I dressed myself in the mehndi like dress to attend the mehndi. I got the bike. I reached the shop with my mother and we get money. Then I filled the the petrol. And as it was the evening time and the sun had already set I had to drive the bike carefully. So I was driving the bike with great care. And in this way we reached. We greeted with all of them. I was feeling hungry as well. So after greeting other I had my dinner there. It was a really very delicious dinner and I ate it to my fill.
Then I mehndi function started. The girls sang songs. And some of them did dance. After that uncle of the girl brought his separate gathering along with the atabal. Atabal is the necessary element in the Punjabi cultural weddings and I think without the atabal there is no any wedding especially in the villages. People did wonderful dances and I was busy in seeing them and I could not take any pictures.
Accidentally I saw my arm and it was swelled. I was surprised seeing it. I was feeling rash at the affected place. Something has caught me. But I was unaware that which thing bite me. It was very annoying. The place was becoming red. I washed it and I did not take it seriously because I did not know if any wasp bite me or anything else.
So after that I was feeling asleep and the mehndi function continued. But I preferred to sleep early to get up early in the next morning to enjoy the barat and the walima.
So guys it was how my whole day spent with love and happiness.
