Went on a walk by a frozen pond the other day. It was nice weather for fall, the snow and cold died down for a couple days. It was a great time to clear the mind, let go of the troubles. I totally enjoyed the stroll through the pond park. The pond was good and reflective.
Then we saw that a beaver chewed into a fairly big tree! Most of the trees have protectors. Somehow they got to this one
Also there is a bee house!! Looked real neat, made me want to make one some time
I also like the trees with most of the leaves fallen off of them
Then when the path round the bend was turned saw what looked like broken ice on top of the ice.
Next something shocking was seen! Someone threw a garbage can on top of the frozen reflective water!!
Yikes!! it was nasty
I wondered how long it had been there.
It looks much nicer without the trash!!
I took some video clips of the scene there that day
Here is a clip of just the garbage can part
So was a great time except for the vandalism to the frozen pond scene. Will have to go on another walk somewhere soon, after this storm passes
