Woke up at 6am to catch a glimpse of the sunrise off my balcony. Fall sunrises are really colorful in Chicagoland.
By the time I got ready to catch the train downtown the color in the sky faded. The clouds had a nice bold pettern to them though.
Once I arrived downtown the clouds were still dark and gloomy making perfect monotone skyscraper views.
The street intersections make interesting cross shapes in the sky.
For lunch I ended up taking a long walk around town looking for a restaurant that is still open for business. The clouds cleared a bit creating a nice reflection on this mirror glass building.
Finally work was over, I spent all day digging around in wordpress trying to make a custom theme. My brain is still spinning trying to get code to line things up correctly. Fortunately I remembered to snap off a shot before hitting the train station back home.
Fortunately I didn't miss it today. But it looks like another train had some serious delays allowing for a nice open perspective shot.
