Today I bring you the humble Scuba Cylinder. SCUBA means Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus and the tank is how we take that air underwater. No tanks no diving.
They do require a bit of looking after. We visually inspect the interior of the tank for cracks and pitting and every five years they are given a hydro static pressure test to be sure they are still fit to be filled to a working pressure of 3000psi or 200BAR.
And the shiny tank valves need looking after also. It's very important as they will be keeping you alive underwater.
They do look pretty cool in Monochrome too
