aside from scuba I think flying in this contraption is possibly my favourite thing to do here.
It's an amazing little flying machine. It's not a helicopter it's a gyrocopter.
It still requires forward motion to be able to fly the same as a plane does. In fact the rotors are not powered during flight it's the forward thrust provided by the engine at the rear that causes the rotors to spin.
We have even flown over a Volcano, Mt Kanlaon, on the neighbouring island of Negros. Over 8000ft up in an open cockpit over a live volcano. These are days you don't forget.
It's almost like being on a motorbike in the sky the feeling of being in an open cockpit way above the clouds.
