While in our garden a couple of days ago, I noticed the way parts of the runners on our pumpkin plants form natural spirals.
I thought it would be interesting to play around a little with that imagery:
The black-and-white version provided some nice contrast, and was a lot more visually interesting than the original:
Also did a few experiments with art filters, a couple of which turned out somewhat interesting, including this "painted" and slightly solarized looking version:
I like how the orange of the pumpkin came through, even though the original photo only had minimal orange.
