Continuing to play with "effects" on some of our photographs... sometimes the results can be quite lovely!
Here, we started out with a regular honeybee, enjoying a good feeding from one of our lavender flowers. This was the original photo:
Originally, I had hoped to make a nice black-and-white image, but it was just too cluttered and contrasty to present well — judge for yourself, here's the black-and-white version:
For me, a large part of enjoying photography is to always carry a camera, so that when the opportunity presents itself, you are ready!
