Time to get back to my love of photography, and to the pursuit of photography as art.
There's that fine line where "just a picture of something" rounds a corner and becomes art.
"Seeing" things that are worthy of a photo... has to do with keeping your eyes open, and being able to visualize what you're looking at on a different scale from what the naked eye sees.
In a casual walk-by, most people might just notice "a white flower."
But what do you see when you stop and get your nose completely into it?
And what does it become, after you make it black-and-white, where shadows and contrast become more important "story tellers" than just color?
