Church of st. Ladislav in Liptovské Matiašovce / Kostol sv. Ladislava v Liptovských Matiašovciach, Slovakia
On one of my trips, I walked through the village of Liptovské Matiašovce. Right at the beginning of the village, a church was built, which fascinated me at first sight. Its architecture and especially the walls around it give it a unique look. The church is also called the pearl of Liptov and the walls around it in this area are not typical. The church was built in the 17th century. It was built by a secret royal adviser, Bishop Ladislav Matiašovský.
I took a picture of him from the outside, but who knows what he looks like from the inside. I will definitely stop by when I go closest around him and look at him from the inside.
Thank you
