Cascade Mountain Views - Central Oregon

in blurtography •  3 years ago
Thought I would share some shots I took of the mountain peaks near my home here in Central Oregon. The first couple are a familiar shot to some who follow me as I take many pictures here on my jaunts into town. This is Broken Top on the left with the Three Sisters on the right.

Hard to believe it is early December, this was a 60 degree f. day and we should have much more snow by now.

The next group of shots was taken the following day on a little drive across Trout Creek Butte. It is the forested little hill on the right in the picture above.

A few wide angle and panorama shots looking north from the butte.

Mt Jefferson

Three Fingered Jack

Mt Washington

These are a couple views back to where I live near the bottom of the butte. Also in the distance you can see Smith Rock State Park.

A last look as I get ready to head home. This is Black Crater. Black Crater Lake is below the summit just about eye level with this shot. I'm still working on finding my way into that lake someday.😀
