Visiting a fair any day brings back childhood memories. Sitting on those rides, playing games, popcorn, candyfloss, all of these takes me back to my childhood days. I remember when me and my hubby were dating we used to that time also visit the fair in our city and it was total fun. We were still in our teens so we used to enjoy it, and nevertheless we still enjoy it occasionally :-)
Yesterday, we visited the local city fair. This one is a permanent one and goes along all year, but in the last 5 years being in this city, I had not even visited it once. Yesterday few friends, we decided to visit just for fun and to do something different.
As we entered the fair, the first stall we see is of a plant nursery.
From the outside the place does not look very attractive and that is also one reason why till date we never visited it, but once we went inside, were surprised to see, there were many things to do and spend leisure time.
Over the years I see the toys have changed so much, but still there are some which I can resonate with my own childhood times, like the Dolls, Guns, masks, kitchen set, doctor set...hehehe
There were all sorts of different rides, for children and adults.
This one is my favorite, dashing cars, but here they only had it for children, smaller ones.
The kids are having a very good time and so are the adults.
We decided to sit in the Ferris wheel. It was after such a long time, I sat in some ride. The last I remember was in London sitting in the London eye :-) which was some 4 years back.
Feels so childlike, Sometimes I wonder, why do we grow up (not by age, by our thoughts) and why do we lose our innocence with age.

It was also a full moon night, I could get some pictures of the rising moon too. On a full moon night, the best part is to see the moon rising, because the appearance of it is magnificient at that time, once it's up then the charm goes off. While it's rising it looks so closer to the earth big and fiery, the color is orangish giving it a little fiery effect.
That was a wonderful Friday evening.
