It was a Christmas celebration and should be celebrated full of joy and enthusiasm. Unfortunately, typhoon Odette robbed all the happiness we felt. How could we be happy when we were asking ourselves where to stay, eat, and sleep because wherever we looked home was nowhere to be found? I was desperate and hopeless that even the disgusting things to do were done by me. I asked for help in either cash or food because I didn't know what to do.
I'm a guy who doesn't worry much about life. I'm the type of that guy who they called the easy-go-lucky guy. I'm saying this because worrying about the situation in life is always absent from me. However, when that happened, I couldn't find that kind of guy because he was washed away by the flood of tears. Of course, thinking of where to sleep when rain falls; Where to hide when the sun rises. There was none to find so obviously, my only choice was to ask for help even though it sounded gross to other people.
Sorry about it, enough for those sad things and let's have some good things. 1 month after the typhoon we slowly rose. We built our house new and different from before. Through the help of all the siblings, we managed to have a place called home. It's still unfinished and beautiful but still, it's already home because that's where we can eat, sleep, rest, and share conversations with the family.
Even though it is far from being finished. We are still thankful for it because slowly we are rebuilding our new home where the place we could go home to when we grow old. What's important for now is that rain can not disturb us while sleeping at night. The sun can not burn us during the daytime. Also, a place where we can enjoy food and be thankful that no one was hurt.
As you can see in the images it's far from being finished. No floor above and below because we prioritize the roof and the walls. We are not rich like the others who can finish their houses immediately whenever they'd start working for it. Even so, we are happy with the process that somehow we could tell ourselves there's a home we can be.
I'm not sure when it will be finished because of financial needs, not just for the construction but also for the food. I'm not saying we are already content with it but at least we are happy to see that there's an improvement.

ABOUT ME
[Paul]is the name but prefers to be called mrnightmare that feels like living in the dream. A country boy and a dreamboy (dreamer) who likes to stay in a small village even though it means abandoning the future to become a seaman. The passion is writing but not sailing in the vast ocean. Don't wonder if the face will not be shown, this is better where the words can flow smoothly. Come, you can tell me your stories and I'll tell you mine. Together, let's explore the world by broadening our thoughts. If you need a shoulder I can lean you mine and I hope I can lean yours. The world is fun when living is not being alone but with someone.
