Pour ceux d'entre vous qui aiment les bateaux et les traditions marines, voici la barque traditionnelle Capverdienne. Elle fonctionne à la godille pour manoeuvrer au port et sous voile latine pour se rendre sur le lieu de pêche. Désormais quasiment toutes sont équipées de moteurs hors bord. Mais lors de la course traditionnelle de la San Isabel, c'est avec fierté que les marins gréent les gréements !
For those of you who love boats and marine traditions, here is the traditional Cape Verdean boat. It works with sculling to maneuver in port and under Latin sail to get to the fishing spot. Almost all are now equipped with outboard motors. But during the traditional San Isabel race, it is with pride that sailors rig the rigging!
