Khachapuri in Adjara style

Save it so you don't lose it.

Ingredients:

Ready-made yeast dough - 500 g
Suluguni - 250 g
Chicken egg - 4 pcs.
Chicken egg (for greasing) - 1 pc.

Tip: you can use any cheese you like, just mix it with suluguni.

Preparation:

  1. Grate the cheese.
  2. Roll out the dough and form it into boats as shown in the photo.
  3. Put the cheese inside, beat the egg and brush the edges with it.
  4. Put the khachapuri in a preheated oven at 200 °C for 30 minutes. When browned, take out the boats, crack 1 egg into each center, lightly salt and send back to the oven.
  5. As soon as the whites turn white, take them out immediately - then the yolk will be liquid (if this is not to your liking, you can bake until the egg is fully cooked). Take out, transfer to a plate and place a piece of butter on top. Serve immediately. That's it!
