BAUNTI CAKE
Ingredients:
For the pastry:
250 gr. butter or margarine
200g of sugar
200g of flour
2-2.5 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
4 tbsp. milk
3 tbsp. cocoa powder
For the filling:
500ml. milk
6 tbsp. semolina
200g. butter
200g of sugar
200g coconut shavings
for the glaze:
180g milk chocolate
Preparation:
Prepare the dough(mix all ingredients), pour the dough onto an oiled baking tray.Bake in a preheated oven at 175g for about 50 minutes. Let cool. cut into 2 parts (about 70 to 30 or as you wish). Make semolina porridge from milk and semolina.
Beat the butter separately with a mixer and sugar.
Mix the porridge, shavings, butter and sugar and spread the cooled cakes with this mixture. On top of the last layer smear with glaze.for this purpose melt chocolate! put in a cold place for the glaze to harden.
