Virtuoso young thief Ivan, who specializes in the theft of works of art, has pulled off $75 million in robberies over the past three years. However, he is forced to give the lion's share of this proceeds to the criminal moneylender Dmitry, who has surrounded himself with a personal army of bandits. Ivan dreams of freeing himself from Dmitry's power, and last but not least, his courageous act is inspired by a beautiful girl - a casual acquaintance from a secular party, Eliza, who turns out to be an aspiring actress.
