The koksi beetle or ladybird which has the Latin name "Coccinella transversalis" is a family of Coccinelidae and the order Coleoptera. They are very easy to identify because they have a small, cute body shape and also an attractive bright color with black spots. The koksi beetle is one of the friends of farmers because it can be used as a biological agent in controlling plant pests. This beetle acts as a predator or natural enemy of small pests such as aphids (Aphid gossypii) and other small pests. They have a unique way of defending themselves, namely pretending to be dead by turning their bodies around and pulling their legs in. Sometimes it also secretes a yellow liquid from the joints of its legs which has an unpleasant odor so that predators do not want to eat it.
Alright friends, below I will show you some macro photos of ladybug insects, I hope you like my picture.
