Welcome to Ikaria (or Icaria) island in Greece

Hello everybody, I've landed to Blurt thanks to the 1:1 airdrop from Steemit and this is my first post. In this post I'm going to offer a summer flavour with photographs taken this year's summer in Ikaria island in Greece. Despite the Corona crisis me and my family were able to travel by boat to the island where we have a small house and spend our summer vacation there and it was nice to get away from Athens city where we live and feel the summer time properly. All photographs shown below have been taken this year's summer with my Nokia 6.1 mobile phone.

This view is taken from the port's dock, the island has two ports, one on the north side of the island where our house is located and the other port on the south side of the island where the island's capital is located

Going out for a walk in the afternoon

and a beach relatively close to our house where we sometimes go for a swim, the view is from the street level and there are stone stairs to climb down to get to the beach
