Yesterday afternoon, I made an appointment to get my hair done with my friend who runs a hair salon in Kamala. After my hair was beautifully styled around 5:30 p.m., I decided to make a stop at "Baan Rai I-Talay Café" a recently opened cafe located on Kamala Hill. This cafe offers a stunning viewpoint and has become quite famous on social media. Every day, especially on holidays, many tourists flock to this spot. Personally, I don't enjoy visiting popular social media cafes on holidays because it's challenging to take photos without other people in the frame. Plus, all the beautiful photo corners are usually occupied. That's why I prefer to visit on weekdays when it's less crowded.

Last month, I discovered "Baan Rai I-Talay Café" for the first time, accompanied by my friend. We were immediately drawn in by its cozy ambiance and the promise of delicious treats. We ordered an array of drinks and bakery items, each one more delightful than the last. The memory of that visit lingered with me, and I knew I had to return, even if it meant going alone this time because my friend had become busy with her commitments.

Despite being on my own, I was eager to revisit the café. Not only did they offer delectable drinks and bakery items, but their menu also boasted a variety of both Thai and Western dishes. The café was nestled amidst nature, surrounded by lush mountain ranges and offering a stunning view of Kamala Bay in Phuket Province.

As I arrived, I was once again charmed by the homey décor that gave the café its unique warmth. And dream catchers hung gracefully, swaying gently in the breeze. The atmosphere was tranquil and inviting, the perfect escape from the daily grind.

This spot is undeniably the highlight of the café, offering an unobstructed, panoramic view of the shimmering sea below. The high bar area was perfect for solo visitors like myself, providing a comfortable perch to enjoy the scenery.

I took in the breathtaking view. The café’s strategic location on Kamala Hill made it an ideal vantage point to appreciate the natural beauty of Phuket. The expansive view of the bay, framed by lush greenery and rugged mountain ranges, was a sight to behold.

I relished the peaceful atmosphere, grateful for the serenity that weekday visits offered. Without the usual crowd, I could fully immerse myself in the experience, capturing the beauty of the moment both in my memory and on my camera. Each click of the shutter felt like a keepsake, preserving the tranquil charm of the café.

At that time, I wasn’t feeling particularly hungry, just thirsty, so I decided to order a glass of mango smoothie. When it arrived, the golden yellow drink was a sight to behold, beautifully adorned with fresh flowers on the top and side of the glass.
