The place where I live is quite near to an agricultural university and therefore i get a chance to see various type of insects.
Yesterday, there was this beautiful looking copper spotted back beetle, a species of ground beetle, moving around in my backyard. I was absolutely fascinated with its amazing color and that wonderful metallic shine all over its body. My little daughter started playing with it. I was so amazed to see it that I started searching about it and eventually after spending quite sometime, I found its details.
Its name is: Calosoma (campalita) auropunctatum & It is found in Europe, Central Asia, Western China & Mongolia.
After having some amazing time with the beetle, "unharmed", we left it to go back to the agricultural fields.
We were truly amazed to see this interesting Arthropod and spend some quality time noticing its unique features.
Mother Nature is absolutely brilliant artist who created these astonishing insects.
