Hoverfly on Wildflowers

in blurtography •  4 years ago

Another fascinating group of insects is hoverfly. It belongs to the family Syrphidae, within the order Diptera (true flies). It has brightly colored and one of the common insects in the garden which is quite familiar with people. It is harmless and is definitely a gardener's friend. So if I want to find such a little cute insect, I have to go to the garden or bushes that are filled with wildflowers. Indeed I found some of them hovering around, making a shortstop on the petal, and flew somewhere for a little longer to avoid my shot. In order to get its pictures, I had to wait for its return.
