The new generation Mazda CX-5 crossover will hit the global car market in 2023. The car will change externally, and will also receive an updated "stuffing".

With the next generation, the Mazda CX-5 is expected to be larger and redesigned at the front and rear. Judging by the render image, the car will retain the angled narrow headlights of the head optics.
It is also expected that the new CX-5 will have a larger bonnet, an enlarged grille with the same pattern, as well as differently designed foglights and an air intake integrated into the lower part of the front bumper.
Earlier it was reported that most likely, the car will be built on a completely new platform under the designation Large Architecture. The basic drive for the crossover will be rear. The car will be powered by six-cylinder engines that Mazda has been developing over the past few years. It is assumed that the most affordable modifications of the new CX-5 will be equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine.
