The IIHS Automotive Safety Agency praised the standard safety technology and headlights of the American Ford Bronco Sport SUV.
The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport SUV was able to earn a Top Safety Pick + from the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety). The new SUV has successfully passed the crash test, getting good results (maximum possible score) in all tests.
The standard LED headlights were also rated Good. The IIHS rated both low and high beams as providing satisfactory visibility on both sides of the road when driving straight ahead and around corners. To qualify for the Top Safety Pick +, the vehicle must score well in six IIHS crash tests. An Advanced or Superior frontal collision avoidance system must be available. Standard headlamps, regardless of equipment, must be rated "Acceptable" or "Good"
The Bronco Sport starts at $ 26,820. The car can be purchased with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 181 hp. (259 Nm), as well as a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 245 hp. (259 Nm). All models have an eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive.
