If you're really going, it's been an interesting ride with you over the years from Steem to here.
While I didn't anticipate the issues that popped up quickly once you were here, I don't regret asking you to come. Every person/organization that wishes to embrace constant testing of knowledge and current moods that push the stream of social groupthink needs to ensure they aren't surrounded by yes men. You fit that need perfectly hah hah.
I think the problem so many have is they take things personally. This ensures they are perhaps even unconsciously surrounding themselves with yes men and creating bubbles to fit their narratives.
I remember towards the end of my blogging time here having a debate (poor as it was) with Ultra. She was confused by my refusal to kneel before m'lady, and moreso when I mentioned disagreement of facts had nothing to do with likability. I told her then (me and you were verbally sparring at the time) that despite my disagreements here with you, you were the one person I liked the most and would love to have a beer with. She couldn't process, did not compute, hah hah.
This demonstrates so clearly how a person attaches their own value to ideas and loses themselves in the process.
If you do come back, I hope you will use this account and not a new one pretending to be a new person. I say that as I noticed another who does this since my return.
It's so easy to tell for the most part.
It's been real Lucy, and hope this is just a see you later and not a nice knowing you.
Edited to add:
To demonstrate not taking things personally. I found it so hilarious when you made this meme poking fun at me.
Here (screenshot below)you can see I saved it on my computer on July 31st, 2022.
I've shown it to a couple folks in my physical life and we all got a great laugh from it.
the problem seems to be if you were looking for an audience (or money)
i'm seeking interesting individuals
and perpetual web hosting on the cheap
I think there is a lot of overlap there, for myself anyway.
I originally came to see what this crypto thing was all about. I don't believe in it personally but was curious if I could get on that ride way back.
As for an audience, I feel that is important as well. If no one reads what one is writing then seems a waste of time to write it.
The interesting individual part is something I think most of us desire. It's why I don't have a Reddit account but spend 1-2 hours a day there. It's great reading and some of the ideas being discussed are out of the norm.
I recently had reason to go look up something at Hive, and had forgotten how many interesting people are there, although my idea of interesting could be vastly different than your own.
I find you interesting, although I don't care for videos so rarely watch them when you post them. I'm a dinosaur and prefer reading.
