MESAP's - Misaligned Emotional Shades And Prioritization's.

What happens when think with your heart (feelings based, illogical)...?

What happens when feel with your brain ( dissociation from emotion)...?

What happens when you combine the two at the same time ?

Staying relevant to the 'make a liberal think' week, how does this hypothesis stand up to scrutiny ?

social justice - Copy - Copy.jpg

No one KNOWS what consciousnesses IS.
No one KNOWS where consciousnesses resides.

(consciousnesses = mind, thought, and perceptions of the external world).

The scientifically biased will argue that brain activity during thinking denotes where the mind lives - but this is an untrue, unverifiable, theory.
The correlation / causation illogical fallacy.

Observable activity in various segments of the brain, does not prove that's where consciousnesses resides.

It proves your brain is biologically active in certain areas during the thinking process.

I'm not trying to argue for , or against_ , this theory- I'm just pointing out a logical fact.

This post has no theological perspectives - i.e the existence of the soul.

Many people think there are 'different brains' that attend to different tasks.
The gray matter for thinking, the heart for feeling for example - this being just two models (among many)...

For the purposes of this post, and relative to the liberal problem (yeah, it really IS a problem), and to keep it simple - let's assume the two 'two centers of intelligence', arr the brain and the heart.
Logic and thinking. Emotions and intuition.

If we look at the two examples of the extremes of these two states, we get
A/ The infant, who is almost entirely functioning by the various emotional states and with relatively little cognitive process..

B/ We have something along the lines of the very high functioning 'Asperger type' of person who see's everything through the prism of logic.

NEITHER OF THESE TWO STATES ARE 'GOOD' OF 'BAD'.
Neither of them are 'right' or wrong'.
They are simply two different , extreme examples, of being.

GROWING UP.

ex2.gif

A young persons reference points of how to express themselves, is thorugh feelings based. (I'm hungry - I cry', 'I'm happy, I laugh')..

A young persons world is dominated by feelings and emotions. ie. - they 'carry more weight' in terms of how to decipher the world.

ex3.gif

'The brain' is an emotional center, not a cognitive one, and as such, expressions are made using 'the brain'.

This is very normal and healthy - and act as the foundations for a young person to develop.
As maturity ensues, the balance between feelings/emotions, and cognitive processes, changes.
'The brain' splits - between consciousness and thinking, and emotional responses only.

There is no 'right or 'wrong' in terms of 'the balance' between the two.

There is no 'good way' or 'bad way' for each person to develop by using these 'two brains'.

.....BUT IS THAT A STRICTLY TRUE PERSPECTIVE ?

NO !

Again, using the two extremes of a young person/high function Asperger, to illustrate....
A young person that NEVER develops into using cognition as a tool in which to navigate the world, will be at a massive disadvantage to those who do use these tools.
The same cannot be said of a high functioning Asperger's individual.

From looking at the above comparisons, it is a logical extrapolation, to argue that cognitive process, thinking, and logic, are the optimum tools in which to navigate the real world.

This does not mean emotional responses/feelings have no value...far from it, in fact.
By choosing the best combinations between the two brains (thoughts /feelings ratio's) - or rather, and by applying the subjective weighting of
the input between 'the two brains' in any given circumstance, it decides
a/ how both see the world,
b/ and how you express yourself.

THE LIBERAL PROBLEM.

Whatever is behind the the reasons (the reasons being irrelevant in context of this post), the 'adult' liberal, has continued from a time of immaturity, to Misalign Emotional Shades And Prioritization's.

Using the gifs above, the 'adult liberal' has matured using a misaligned balance of intellect over emotion.

'Feels' are more important , or they take a far higher priority than what is seen in the 'non liberal' psyche.

As roughly outlined above - LOGIC and SKILLS IN CRITICAL THINKING are far more important in the real world.
Emotions have their place .
A very important place....They are the essential prerequisites that allows for all the moral and ethical foundations that are necessary to create a world based on logic, and truth.

'The liberal' has the worst of both worlds.

A two brain system that weights emotion over intellect (the SJW, etc).
.....AND
(due to the above 'misalignment of priorities between the two brains')

A moral/ethical foundation NOT based on emotion - but intellect.

THE DIAMETRIC OPPOSITE OF WHAT IS REQUIRED TO NAVIGATE THE WORLD TO OPTIMIZE YOUR OWN SUCCESS...
(get woke, be broke, anyone?)

ext5.gif

As I've re-iterated many times in this post - There is no 'good or bad', 'right or wrong'.

WHAT IS BAD...OR 'WRONG' - IS ALLOWING THOSE WHO ARE MISALIGNED IN THEIR PRIORITIES TO HAVE POSITIONS OF INFLUENCE WHOSE SUCCESS IS DEPENDENT ON HAVING CORRECTLY ALIGNED PRIORITIES. (logic and critical thinking, over 'feels').

Businessmen, leaders, designers, architects, engineers....

Obviously this single post cannot encompass the plethora of details that question the hypothesis - but it acts as a broad outline to better understand the liberal mindset*, and it's ultimate weaknesses in the real world.

*In conjunction with my next post on the subject - FUCD - Fear underlying cognitive decision-making.
When MESAP and FUCD come together, we get the liberal - in all it's 'in-glory'.

A quick sidenote:
The Male and Female question.
We are not the same.
We do not operate on the same sets of values and qualities.
Again, this neither good nor bad - but worthy of celebration, if anything.

If I were to use the gif's above to differentiate between the sex's and alignment/priorities - it would look something like this...

ex7.gif

Roles of the sexes - and the overwhelming evidence of how they evolved.
Civilizations that were totally separate from each other, and widely varying culture's - all followed the same (broad) outline.... of female being the main nurturer/home builder, and the male being hunter/provider of resources.

Ergo, in my very blunt model above , the same dynamics manifest - but the sex's have a more biased filter as a defualt setting - due the the sexes being, guess what?.... different...
This differences in the 'misaligned liberal' and the differences in 'the default filter settings' of the sexes, only adds more complexity into the equation.

This difference of the sexes is not a 'social construct'- THIS IS HOW IS EVOLUTION ACTUALLY HAPPENED - All without any social scientists, humanity academics, or social engineers being involved.

Mother nature knows best - so how about we listen to her? (kill oyur hubris).

Liberals, do not know best - but they think they do....bless

FUCD - coming up.....

This post has no theological perspectives - i.e the existence of the soul.

I understand why you take this approach , to keep it simple , just two , the brain and the heart to me leaves out 1/3 of the equation do . I see a human as a three-force system , the mind the heart and the spirit ,.. just cal me Trinity ;-) .

image.png

Still leaving this important part out made a good point and view on heart and mind workings , and in the end that third part is the solution for finding balance in existence again , you even came to that yourself :

Mother nature knows best - so how about we listen to her?

As the third part comes directly from her wisdom ,.. the spirit of life .
Problem in today's world might well be that most people have lost the spirit and so lost 1/3 of their existence ending up in a fight between the mind and the heart . Ending up with severe cases of MESAP . ;-)
