My reply to @practical thought - and no 'reply disabled'! ..lol

in blurtnews •  9 months ago

A line from my previous posts...

As Grannon says (when discussing narcissistic abuse) ' You have no moral obligation to be sincere with those who are insincere'.

@practicalthought

Sounds like something one says to allow one to pretend (do mental somersaults) they have honor when they don't. Islam calls this taqiyya.

I disagree, matey. I see it very differently. I would say if more people saw it 'my' way, we wouldn't be in the global shite we find ourselves in today.

Let me, briefly, try to clarify...

If you fight with one arm voluntarily tied behind your back, in a fight for your life, you are not being 'honorable', you are being stupid, yes?

If you cannot forgo a temporary compromise of your own moral philosophy to defend your hierarchy of values (one based on the very moral philosophy your constructed it upon), you risk losing everything.

This means going into the abyss with your demons, and hoping you come out with your soul intact.
Some don't (corrupted).
These are the casualties of war.

When your enemy will use ALL weapons at their disposal, and you refuse to - you are being weak (no matter how you justify it with 'honor', etc).

It is not nice, nor pretty, and preferably something to avoid. But reality cares not about your sensibilities, your honor, or your principles.

...It is this FEAR of getting of down and dirty with ideological enemies -they have no such boundaries - that has created the mess we are in today.

....Just my opinion/perspective.

In relation to your take on blocking - you can't reply on THEIR posts- (in the comment sections - only on comment sections of non blocked accounts in which 'they' make a comment).

I know you have a strong passion/dislike for the Dpos system, but it has been my experience both personally as well as through study that no system will work. Once folks are involved, the plots for dominance and parasitic structures manifest regardless of the system.

The trick is establishing a system that PROMOTES free markets, and puts systems in place to PREVENT the corruption. (as much as possible)
As you say, there IS no perfect system - but DPoS is so far in the opposite direction, its not even funny.

Dpos seems like such low fruit to concern oneself with as they march the world towards total enslavement. A system like Dpos that is voluntary is low on my worry list.

YOU ARE VERY CORRECT.

....hence me pretty much 'leaving' shortly.
You are entirely correct.
....And I have been very wrong for ever trying to push back against it (for a plethora of reasons).

Circling back to the being true to oneself but still interacting on the others post, I would imagine that for the narcissist seeing others get rewarded on their own posts by someone they had blocked would really trigger them.

You can't comment on 'reply disabled' accounts - even with other accounts that have commented.

What WOULD trigger them - is muting them so the only way they reply - is on their own posts - thus illustrating their own idiocy on their own timeline.
.....I just muted khrom (not for being a narcissist though ! lolol), but to use the system.
I think having to use your own feed to reply, actually makes it better. (free speech yeah yeah, I get it lol)..
Why?
It makes people more accountable on their own feed for their own followers to see.
It doesn't 'hide' the comment in comment sections.

Not that it matter much anyways..it won't be here long anyways...then hive, then steem...

No one reads anything here, and for good reason.

Indeed, my friend, indeed..

The overall content here sucks, so of course no one is reading shit.

yup..

Also, most who post here are broke as shit, and can actually improve their lives with the .25 a day they are getting because their economy has been plundered hard.

'technically speaking' - I'm in that group to.
The project initially, was to self fund without using my other resources.
The whole reasons for ever joining steem, was to see if I could make my $10 a day I need to live (rent, bills, food for the doggies and myself, and Luce).
And I did, at first (pre down voting BS).

....hence the optimism when you lured me over to blurt! lol
I BLAME YOU ! lololololol.

This last five years of writing, fighting and seeing 'the lay of the land', has taught me so much. (about my own inner psychology rather than the platforms).

I wasn't joking in my post a day or two ago, when said my recent journey has been most enlightening.
(possibly the biggest 'jump forward' in my understanding the workings in my own head, in the last 30 years).

My chronic low self esteem (yes, really) and early life experiences, makes me uber sensitive to 'things of a narcissistic, corrupt nature'.
My compensatory mechanism for low self esteem is intellectual narcissism if not using substances (now a thing of the distant past).
When drunk/high, I needed no compensatory mechanisms. The pervading guilt/shame I never knew existed - was submerged - i.e - my fears were temporarily 'gone'.
...and voila - no self esteem issues (temporarily).

I'm working on this quite diligently - which is one of the reasons I'm leaving the toxic psychological environment that is DPoS - it's shite for mental health!.
...Bugger about the upvotes though! lol. i might do 5 posts a day of one liner bs until the votes stop - I really don't care at this point.

I believe Khrom has good intentions and hasn't realized this ship isn't designed to sail in deeper waters. And it doesn't appear anyone wants to steer it to water it can navigate.

Maybe, maybe not. The jury is now out. I used to think the same as yourself.
It's IMPOSSIBLE to 'right this ship', not without a whole change in ideology, ethos... And that wont happen, for many different reason. (mostly all bad)

I had high hopes for Blurt, but have accepted the fact above after battling to allow the navigation to no avail.

Acceptance indeed.. a bitter, sad pill to swallow.

I congratulate those in depressed economies where this actually can help them, although their own apathy when it comes to posting is part of what keeps this experiment doomed. If no one wants to read shit here, the only product is a token that is shunned at most exchanges and by the larger crypto community.

The system itself encourages low effort, high sycophantic, behaviors.

I keep watching those who have invested a lot and then lost their shirts and the lack of understanding even now for them astounds me.
One in particular who I mentioned in my previous comment that has me blocked has lost most of his investment. Yet he still posts maybe this will turn around.
Nope, not the way we meander forward. He keeps talking about a possible bull run, while we have no exchange listings that produce the large swings that can absorb large amounts of buying/selling.
Not while no one posts anything of value.

I know. It's very interesting to observe - from the psychological/philosophical viewpoint.

I will say that I believe my assessment before I left was correct on the foundation as opposed to the monied players that came in.
Despite their absence of activity here (founders and the foundation that suddenly wasn't a foundation) if not for them there wouldn't even be a front end for this. I argued this would be the case and despite some temporary front ends,

I disagree ...lol...it was a squandered opportunity to do better.
I don't blame them - i think they were totally out of their depth in many different ways.

I was correct in my view if the foundation pulls out completely this is over.

@blurbooster (mega) and the social foundation etc are all milking the curation rewards and selling off , I think...(it's inevitable).
As always, bag holders will be left.

Cheers, matey !

You can, I know what I'm talking about. I commented to show you on a post by Drutter who has me blocked, and I commented to you there. I have a screenshot of his blocking me in the comment to you on HIS post.

I won't let others off so easy by saying

The system itself encourages low effort, high sycophantic, behaviors.

It's a personal choice made by every low effort boring nothing of value to share person who types and hits publish here.

I wanted to clarify with you that you've said you have aspergers?

I'm glad the money here brings a little value to you. I'm not even sure why I'm here again, as I have no way of cashing any of this out again now that Ionomy is fleecing everyone of their holdings. That was how I cashed out last time the 3k or so I had accumulated.

YOU ARE VERY CORRECT.

....hence me pretty much 'leaving' shortly.

That will be quite an impact, taking away a large percentage of readable interesting posts found here.

Circling back to using the tool of deception. I don't liken it as fighting with one arm tied behind my back. I see it as being strong enough to wield what everyone should be yet many seem to weak to hold.

Just because so many folks are duplicitous doesn't mean I have to be, and for those with eyes, it will be apparent who the stronger one is. But i don't even do it for them, although it's a benefit. I do it for me.

When my head touches the pillow, one thing that does not keep me awake is worrying about my conduct. Worth way more than stooping to the level of a liar.

The closest I'll come, which I don't believe is lying while many do, is I at times might not volunteer information. I earned it and they can too if I dislike them or they are agitating to be agitating.

It's a difference of perspectives, is all.
I agree with you principles, I disagree with pragmatic solutions, so as to be able to be left alive, to allow for 'us' to have the luxury of living by said principles.

When my head touches the pillow, one thing that does not keep me awake is worrying about my conduct. Worth way more than stooping to the level of a liar.

'Being able to sleep peacefully at night ' is my own personal moral and ethical, barometer.
Shooting a rabid dog, doesn't affect my sleep. (bit sad though,)
.....aaaand we're back to your own personal moral philosophy and hierarchy of values.

You can't comment on 'reply disabled' accounts - even with other accounts that have commented.

You can, I know what I'm talking about.

....let me go take a screen shot (in real time!lol)...

image.png
....first one i came across. wtp has me muted, cryptopie not - I can't reply on wtp's feed, to cryptopie....
....I would say it's worth investigating, but I really don't give a fuck at this stage -it's all irrelevant to me, personally.. lolol.

If you can't extract your blurt, send to me, and I'll convert it through hive engine, and send to your crytpo wallet, no probs.
I'll just convert at whatever the exchange price is, and send it to you blut>hive> doge? (is good, low transaction fees) > your wallet.

...I'm sure you can do this yourself, btw - you have a hive account, already.

I open a chrome browser (never use it for anything else), download the hive keychain bullshit (very annoying process), and off you go.
The offers there if you want it.
(edit)..email me if you don't want to give your wallet addy here.

You have to go to the persons profile, then their comment section. Open the comment through there and the reply disabled will no longer be there.

In the above screen shot you are showing me the comment from the post itself, which has you blocked.

So if you were to go to Cryptopies comments, look for that comment and open it and it will no longer be disabled.

cleverrrrrrrrrr, very cleverrrrrrrr....

Oh well.
It doesn't really matter now, too much...

I wanted to clarify with you that you've said you have aspergers?

oops soz, forgot to answer.

lol - no I don't 'have aspergers' - I wrote a few posts at one point, laughing about my own 'asperger-like traits'. (or asparagus traits, as i framed it).

If you look more through the 'personality traits' lens, it makes (more) sense.

95% in openness ('intelligence' - intellectual agility, creative, etc)
20% in 'agreeableness' -oops..lol (grumpy old git who doesn't treat idiots with much patience) )
10% - conscientiousness - (flits around, hyperfocus , then not focused, kinda thing.)
...neuroticism and extroversion - just below/above 'average' for both. (45%/59%)

It then really interesting - when you throw in so called, cptsd ! lolololol

cheers, matey.

OK, thanks. I remember you making jokes about it, but wasn't sure if you were serious or not.

If memory serves, it started on hive.

I then used it again on blurt when mega was being an idiot.
He then actually used my humor to support his comment of 'me being mentally unwell' ( I kid you not, its on the blockchain!)
