Calm down, calm down...
I wasn't talking about anything rump pumpy oriented (your thoughts belong to you).
I was talking about making a crypto currency tied to reality.
Or organic silk t be more precise.
Or rather bespoke, unique dresses, made by hand, by Luce - to be even more precise.
Imagine a crypto currency platform that invested in real world commodity - one that couldn't easily be faked.
You cant fake handmade, silk dresses, very easily.
They are pretty unique to the person who makes them.
Imagine if a social media blogging site, had a 'fairly' fixed amount of tokens - with no curation rewards, only upvote rewards for content.
Imagine if the tokens could be redeemed for either a unique silk dress, or the cash amount for unique silk dress to be sold.
Luce's new project, along with her partner - cater to the high society end of the market.
Top prices, for top quality, for those who are 'the very highest up' in the socio-economic scheme of things.
Now also imagine a platform that converts tokens into clothes - or cash - and also contributes to local charities to help 'em out...(kids).
How cool - how organic, does that sound for a 'muh crypto' platform ?
No speculations, no 'trading coins to make money off nothing except luck.
Just up voting quality content, attracting quality content creators, and having your rewards fixed in something organic, tangible and real.
@fervi - what is the absolute minimum amount of servers needed to run a forked blurt blockchain ? (Minus many accounts)
...and how much would it cost?
GONE - the crypto charlatans.
GONE - the 'post bullshit for rewards'
GONE - the idiocy of crypto as it is right , and instead, turn it into a real organic, product.
GONE - the people extracting wealth for no other reason than running servers, and echo chamber circle jerking...
IN - a real intent to make a platform attractive for users to have real discussions, debates and high content posts.
IN - with an actual product to sell, no need for banal word salads off people who swallowed a corporate marketing buzz words, list ('cos that's worked out really well, hasn't it ?lol) and finally with a genuine incentive to convince people to get engaged and grow the platform - FOR THE ETHICALLY RIGHT, REASONS.
Sounds kinda cool, dunnit?
You dump your upvotes into making dresses, (for delivery or re-sale for cash) while helping some kids who have a shitty start in life.
Luce says she'll happily let you dump your loads of upvotes for creating good content, into her shop - for cash or product .
You dump yer load into her, and she'll do the rest...(and love it !)
@fervi - what is the absolute minimum amount of servers needed to run a forked blurt blockchain ? (Minus many accounts)
...and how much would it cost?
100 USD per year I think. Ofc. it's better to have 20 servers in different locations however you can have 1 server with 20 witness nodes xD
..why not 1 server (min), with just 4, 5 or 6 wittnesses?
Wouldn't it be easier for those looking for a dpos platform built on value without all the the bullshit...to just fork ?
(none of this nonsensical token production to extract wealth)
i.e. valued content that people will pay for/want to be involved with?.
crypto dpos models for crypto production are dying/dead.
It will be the end result for all of them - unless a new ethos is created - one based on sound economic models - not this current idiocy we're enduring this last 5 years.
