Eat Padang Satay in Limoges, France

I love hanging out with Indonesian people. Besides letting go of my homesickness, I was also free to use my mother tongue, Bahasa Indonesia.

This is my story and experience when I was in France. Because it is still a pandemic, gatherings in France are still very limited. There can only be less than 10 people in one gathering.

This time the host was Sari. She followed her husband who was studying for his doctoral degree in France. Because she was bored with nothing to do, every day she learned a new menu. As a result, all of her food is very delicious.

That day she served us with satay padang. Imagine how happy we were when we could eat satay padang with Indonesian flavors in Europe.

What a world of pleasure. Even though this was her first time cooking satay padang with only limited resources and ingredients, I can give her a 10/10. Perfect!

Not only that, Kak Sari also prepared various pastries. And the special menu is Tasya Farasya-style coffee. She said it was her first time making it. But still, it was incomparably delicious. Even though she only made one bottle. But because she saw that I really liked it. She gave me half the bottle. He said, "It's easy. If you run out, just make another one. It was intentionally made to be finished." hihi it's also fun to be a child among adults. Joke hehe.

We also certainly didn't come empty-handed. I offered to bring some snacks and coca cola less sugar. Kk dewa brought risol and Korean boiled eggs. The egg filling is brown and very delicious. Someone brought chocolate sponge and chocolate banana too. It really felt like Indonesia. Very happy! Thank you brother and sister for the warmth!

Sungguh sebuah kenikmatan dunia.
