So Samhain has passed. Despite all the mythological characteristics of this period as a time of dark forces, I want to say one thing. Speaking about natural holidays, such as the holidays of the Wheel of the Year, it would be fundamentally wrong to talk about dark forces as something negative. Just remember the times of the Inquisition!
When we talk about light and dark energies in the context of the seasons, we are not talking about good and bad. Rather, we are talking about the direction of energy and its source.
November is the time when nature begins to actively prepare for winter sleep. The ground part of deciduous plants withers and dies. Leaves are falling from the trees.
Many birds flew away and insects disappeared. Everything around is preparing for winter peace. It is often associated with death.
November is the time to learn to let go. Letting go of people with whom relationships have not worked out or have ended. Letting go of things you no longer need. Let go of events and memories.
It may be hard, but remember that not letting go of the old will not make room for the new to come into your life.
