The video extracted from the RTVE archive is the song “El Maestro” by Patxi Andión. A song that comes on his fifth studio album “A Donde El Agua” (1973).
Patxi Andión, composed this song with a heartfelt tribute and song of gratitude to those men who made their students almost a few more children, and who, in many cases, were not afraid to name the 'unnameable', to fight like this, from modest but immense contribution, against the blanket of oblivion and silence that the "victors" tried to impose.
A melancholic song, heartfelt, energetic and interpreted with that rage that Patxi used to put in his very particular voice, to tell us about the teacher's forced exile.
