I wanted to try out making one of those strange A.I. videos. I tried Pika Labs. Each clip is 3 seconds long. It took me a few hours to create the video. I chose the latest Massesect song - Policy Of Cruelty. The music for the song is A.I. I wrote the lyrics. The song is about anti-social policies that go against diversity and the greater good. If one is politically and socially aware they will know what it's about.
These pictures are stills from the video that I use for the next 3 second clip for the next video. Usually I take the last frame for the next segment, sometimes I choose an interesting moment from the previous clip. I really like how the result turned out! It is a dreamy trippy flow of weirdness. I really like the weirdness! I like that uncanny valley aspect...if A.I. gets too normal that would be a sad day for me lol. The strangeness is what makes A.I. works art, if it were not able to tap into the otherworldly, the strange... and was as some say just a cheap/corny rip-off of 'real' artists then it would be just garbage. Though I would like some clearer video already lol! There are a few more options out there, will have to save up some pennies to play the next level of the a.i. video generation game. This was my first try and it was fun!
Here is the video up on YouTube
Lately I have been playing/making some music. Getting ready to release the next music from my instrumental project: Synthesis Underground. So I will have much inspiration and opportunity to make another A.I. music video. I was pretty inspired by cEvin Key and IAMX song - Anger Is An Acid! You should all check it out. The video is all A.I. generated and the song is killer!! I recently saw Skinny Puppy live on their final tour! cEvin Key does the keyboard for Skinny Puppy. They are my favourite band by far. Been doing some self care in the last season. Now I am feeling that creative surge. It's what I need to get through winter hehe.
