Drum And Bass Experiment With Some A.I. Backdrop - Synthesis Underground - Hexoid

The Experiment Worked Well!!

I re-organized some of my samples and noticed some drum and bass breaks. I felt the urge to play something to it! So I laid down some drum tracks, played a little keyboard then added an A.I. drum and bass track to the mix! They blended together rather well. Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to distribute the track with the A.I. in it. That's too bad as it really adds to the flow! It has been awhile since I tried some drum and bass yet always seem drawn back to it 'cause I do like the genre a bunch! I will keep this mix and cut the A.I. for the final release. I wanted to show the mix, to see how it can work. I'm pretty sure there is another site where I can licence to remix some A.I. drum and bass if I pay. I will keep that option in mind as it was fun and made it easy to jump into adding instrumentation and remixing/splicing the original track.

I made another couple bass riffs I may add to this. I didn't do any eq or sound design on the sounds yet. Just mixed the volumes pretty much. After I add more to it and cut out the A.I. bits I will eq and tweak the tracks out. The song may change quite a bit. It's good fun practice for me for sure. The drum and bass is a little break from the usual straight experimental or more industrial tracks. Those elements are fun to add to drum and bass too.
