There is a song made a few months ago. The song lyrics are like reading a bunch of news headlines from that time. There was an election going on in Alberta Canada and it was getting nasty. Much paranoid views came out from the covid 19 pandemic. The conservative party UCP adopted many of the conspiracy theories, it was getting mad out there! There were Hate Preachers at Drag Shows, a border blockade where neo nazi types brought a cache of guns for a possible shoot out with police. They were rabid with conspiracy hysteria. The locals bought it up, said they were big victims bc of Covid restrictions, calling themselves freedom fighters. I just had to take it all in to put it into a song.
I thought that's what politicians are for! To dig into. Went through some articles on what more of the connections were.
I got to a site which rendered music using artificial intelligence, I thought that would be an easy thing to use to quickly write some lyrics to. So I did. Then performed it live at the local music pub. I was going through a bit of a rough time and this song was part of my therapy. They did not much like it, except for one young guy who likes Trap music. I did it for him. Showed it to a few friends that did like it as well.

I was glad I was able to do this song! Even though it was making people uneasy, at the same time that was the point and it was still fun to do! Showed it to an ex-friend, he didn't like it and so there was a crank call shortly after. The pub doesn't want me back. I'm like hey is it really that bad? I grew up with controversial rap songs in the 90's. I like politically charged songs. I like calling out corrupt politicians. What they didn't like was the basis of the song calling out everyone for being in a cult. A death cult. No I don't like it. Wish I could say more but I am getting tired at the moment. I would like to write more songs and keep the flow going. I never intended to fixate on this song all so much, the impact was felt and immediate. That's why I am putting an official version now. Perhaps see what others think of it. It is kind of just a joke song of news headlines with a robot a.i. sound backdrop...yet yea it is kinda brutal LOL.
