Blurtmusic: The new Halloween Kills theme is spectacular.

The new film Halloween Kills (2021) was recently released with all the music composed by the original maestro of terror John Carpenter. Mr. Carpenter hasn't directed a film in years and has had a 2nd act in life as a musician, he even tours. He always did make great music and produced so many iconic themes for his own movies.

Halloween Kills the movie is nothing special in my opinion but the soundtrack is great. John Carpenter is still at the top of his game in the music department and working with his own son must be a special treat. Performing in your 70s without having to answer to anyone creatively must be liberating. Those studio executives and producers can be a living nightmare to work with as he always mentions.

Give it a listen, you'll notice the similarities and departures. The entire soundtrack is provided directly from John Carpenter himself. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Let's not forget the original that scared the hell out of everyone in 1978.

Jamie Lee Curtis was barely in the new film for those that are wondering. Female leads of a certain age are often relegated to non glamorous roles as we all know. He's to some progress!

I love them but I notice the size is much smaller and it's not simply because I've grown. The price of cocoa has risen dramatically over the years. I hear consumers are very price conscious and would prefer less chocolate but retain the same price point.
