Happy National Beer Day !
Do you have a favourite beer ?
Mine changes from Holiday to Holiday and Season to Season.
During the summer months I prefer light beers… draft, something like really really cold Bud Light, Corona with lime, Coors Light and even Pabst blue Ribbon.
Especially at the beach.
During the very long Cold Canadian winters I prefer something dark… like Dam Dark, Barking Squirrel, Waterloo Dark or Guinness … the same goes with Autumn. I like something hearty.
Anyway, … it’s still cold here so I will probably have a few pints of dark beer to celebrate this very important Holiday here in Canada. 🇨🇦
Every day is National Beer Day.
Every April 7 is National Beer Day, a time where we can raise a toast to the oldest and most venerable of all beverages. People have been making beer for over 5,000 years; in fact, the oldest recorded recipe we know of is for beer.

Here’s some Johnny Cash who hardly ever sings Beer Drinking Songs… except on National Beer Drinking Day

Happy National Beer Day.
I was going to drop a writeup on beer and I hope to do so soon enough. I enjoy dark beer too. Recently, a kid asked me in her sincere innocence at an occassion while she saw me drank; she said: " wow! Father, do you also drink?" And I smiled tenderly to her and said yes. Guess what? She said, No Father, it's a sin. And I said my dear its never a sin. So I had to engage in no less than a 30 mins discussion with little Ruth on the subject of beer 😂😜😅.
With this beautiful experience, I want to write a piece on the biblical origins of (wine) beer and perhaps alcohol in general and especially as it pertains to the erroneous belief that alcohol is a sin.
Thanks for poking me in the ribs in this issue. Hope to engage you soon on this. Meanwhile, happy national beer 🍺 day.
Cheers 🍻 👏 ✌ 🥂 🍻
Yes. Jesus 1st miracle was converting water to wine at a Wedding in Cana ….
Very correct. Yet feeble minds fail to understand than wine contains alcohol. I hope to drop my researched writeup soon. Cheers!
these cans of beer are really beautiful, I've never seen any of these before. I specify that I live in Europe
Well….. The 2 of the left are from Ireland and the 2 on the right are from Canada.
Abiut look, the can of beer I like best is the one on the left. The ona named “Kilkenny”
I was going to say, every day is national beer day but you had that covered! XD
I'm usually the same way, dark beers in winter, light in summer. I got into the English IPA's and my current favorite is Southern Tier's Lakeshore fog, I already transitioned from the porters and stouts:)
