Here in the Northern Hemisphere we are celebrating the Winter Solstice.

December 21 2020

It is the shortest, darkest day of the year for us up here in the North.

But starting today the days will get longer, with a little more light each day. So let’s celebrate this Ancient Holiday with singing and dancing as we welcome the return of the Sun / Son.

Happy Winter Solstice everyone ..

The Winter Solstice marks the day with the shortest period of daylight and the longest night of the year (in the Northern Hemisphere), all thanks to the tilt of the earth. In many cultures, the day is a day of feasting and celebration, but even if you’re totally agnostic, you can still find a reason to rejoice, because after today, you’ll see gradually shorter nights and longer days, which means you can look forward to the emergence of spring.

Happy winter solstice, according to the calendar it is also the day of the Spirit of Christmas and I believe that this year we have a shower of stars on this date, it seems that it is something that does not happen often.
